The wild Kaimanawa horses enjoyed the first rays of the day's sun on them this morning. After a cold frost overnight the sun is going be greatly welcomed today! These horses just love carrots, which we feed to them on our tours along with the help of our guests.
Our Little Cutie Pie lamb (again named by our daugher Mia!) has been enjoying summer out at the cabin meeting all the guests of Tussock Ridge Farm Tours. She loves to learn about all the different countries people come from all while wearing her sunhat to keep that ho...
Meet the star of our tour, Mr Bumpy, our friendly sheep. Mr Bumpy was given his name by our 4 year old daughter, Mia, who helped raise him since his birth. As a little lamb he would "bump" her over when she was playing with him.
Thanks to Roberto and his family from Mexico and Ralph and his wife Betty from Canada for coming out on our farm tour yesterday. Glad you enjoyed feeding the wild horses and native eels and experiencing a real nz farm.
It was lovely to meet Pat and Dave from Birmingham, England today, such wonderful people! We enjoyed the great conversations. You both picked a perfect day for your farm tour too! Enjoy the rest of your holiday in NZ.
